Creating SEO with article marketing.

Article marketing has gained great popularity over the past year or so. With the increasing importance that Google puts on informational, external links, writing and posting external articles that link back to your web site will continue to play an important role in search engine optimization.

SEO WITH ARTICLE MARKETING DEFINITION

This is my definition of seo with article marketing: Creating articles educating the public about a particular subject. Each article includes specific keywords that link back to your related product or service on your web site. The article is then published on a blog, with an eZine service or other external web site that is pointing back to your site.

This can be used in the context of creating videos or slide shows as a way of creating the same traffic effect, but since they aren’t articles, I am not including this in the definition.

ARTICLE MARKETING STRATEGIES

This sounds simple enough and it can be, but to do it correctly, you really need to spend some time finding your optimum keywords, using those keywords to set the articles you will write, write the articles, integrate them with social media and set up your tracking. You will also want to create an editorial calendar to map out this process and often you will also want to create some customer relationship building offers on your site.

Usually, at this point, most of my clients give up and decide to find a business that does marketing strategy consulting.
